简介
陈建东博士于2008年加入西南财经大学财税学院。在此之前，已经大约有二十余篇经济学和管理学论文已发表(独著或合著)。在科大学习期间，多篇文章被中国人民大学复印报刊资料以及其他数据库收集；在曼彻斯特大学商学院学习期间，博士重点研究方向是中国的贫困和收入不平等。The Basic Formula of the Gini Coefficient between Urban and Rural Areas- A Case of China from 1986 to 2003发表在the Conference on Inequality and Poverty in China, 该会由World Institute for Development Economic Research, United Nations University 以及中国社会科学院主办。中文版被收录在由社会科学出版社出版的转轨时期收入差距与贫困,该文发表后受到广泛的关注 。 Extending Social Assistance in China: Lessons from the Urban Minimum Living Standard Scheme发表在Chronic Poverty Research Centre（欧洲顶级的贫困研究中心），同时被收录在www.id21.org （欧洲官方的贫困研究中心）。目前该文已被广泛的引用 。
